Advanced Supervisory Level III
This 16 hour session is for the student that is already secure in the various Insulation and Air Sealing application measures. This course teaches students how to effectively collect building data, calculate ventilation requirements and conversion formulas, perform blower door assisted air sealing, identifying problem areas and use of smoke generators. In addition the participants will learn the use and applications of the infrared camera as well as diagnostic testing equipment and CAZ testing. Combustion safety levels in ambient air, ovens and vent free heaters will also be addressed.
Our Insulation and Air Sealing Level I meets the training requirements for the Building Performance Institute (BPI )Recognized Training with a rating of 6.4 Continuing Education Units (CEU). The Insulation and Air Sealing Level II and Advanced Supervisory courses are both also BPI Recognized Training with a 7.0 CEU rating.
