Energy Efficiency Training Center schedules
classes for April 2012
The Energy Efficiency Training Center, located in
Western New York at 34 Peuquet Pkwy in Tonawanda, NY,
will be offering the following training courses
for April 2012. Registration is still open for
February and March 2012.
April courses
are the Insulation/Air Sealing Level
I class which will be held on Monday and
Tuesday, April, 16-17, 2012, and the Insulation/Air Sealing
Level II class which will be held on Wednesday
and Thursday April, 18-19, 2012. The Level III Insulation
and Air Sealing course will be held on Wednesday
and Thursday, April, 25-26, 2012.
March 2012 courses include the Insulation/Air
Sealing Level I class. It will be held on Monday
and Tuesday, 19-20, March, 2012. Also offered will be the
Insulation/Air Sealing Level II class. It will be held
on Wednesday and Thursday, March, 21-22, 2012. Insulation and
Air Sealing course will be held on Wednesday and Thursday,
26-27, March, 2012.
February
courses include the Insulation/Air Sealing
Level I class. It will be held on Monday and
Tuesday, February, 13-14, 2012. Also offered will be the
Insulation/Air Sealing Level II class. It will be held
on Wednesday and Thursday, 15-16, February, 2012. The Level
III Insulation and Air Sealing course will be held on
Wednesday and Thursday, 22-23, February, 2012.

All of the training courses for
weatherization offered by the Energy Efficiency Training
Center have received the "Recognized Training"
designation from the Building Performance Institute
(BPI). All are recognized for Continuing Education Units
(CEU). All courses taught at the Energy Efficiency
Training Center meet the professional standards of the

In addition, the Energy Efficiency
Training Center has earned "Affiliate" status with the
Building Performance Institute.

During the start-to-finish two
day, hands on training sessions, students will learn how
to install attic, wall and floor insulation; implement
air sealing procedures, seal ductwork, install vapor
barriers, and fulfill additional energy audit
requirements.
All courses at the 2,400 square
foot state of the art training facility feature open
enrollment. That means there are no pre-entry
requirements to be met. The training is available to any
adult 18 and over who is interested in delivery
residential energy efficiency services as a career.
